Vesti bune pentru amatorii de ANDROID!! 06/28/2010 Dupa multa munca, developerii de la XDA au reusit sa booteze o versiune Android. Am testat si eu. Arata super! Mai este mult de muncit dar curand vom avea primul Android perfect functionabil pe HD2!
In backupul meu de pe hdd am gasit asta: RUU_Leo_HTC_WWE_EastEurope_1.48.479.1_Radio_Signed_15.28.50.07U_2.05.51.05_2_Ship
Imediat dupa ce am cumparat telefonul de la VF am instalat acest rom pentru ca stiam ca repara problema cu pata roz la fotografiere. Alt rom specific in limba romana nu exista. Am vazut recent pe XDA un topic in care autorul declara ca in viitor se poate schimba limba unui rom prin instalarea unui CAB.

In order to run this on your HD2, you have to copy THREE files to the root folder of a storage card and insert it in the device. YOU CANNOT RUN THIS WITHOUT A STORAGE CARD. If the OS detect no storage card, it will shut down automatically. Now...
Copy "data.img","rootfs.img" and "system.sqsh" found in the 7z archive, to the ROOT of your storage card.
These files require about 400 MBytes, so make sure you have at least that much available on the card. A class 4 or Class 6 card is recommended for best performance.
If you find that you don't like this ROM and want to get back to your regular Windows Mobile ROM, turn the phone off (press the End key inside Android or simply pull the battery) and hold the "Volume Down" key on the side of the phone, as you're turning it on with the red power key. It will bring you to the multi colored bootloader screen, where you can plug in your cable and flash your favorite ROM.
1. Sugggestions
- Choose the HTC Sense interface on startup when you're asked what you want to run. It runs better.
- Go to Settings / Wireless & Networks / Mobile Networks / Access Point Names and push the "windows" key on the device to get the menu to pop out. Here you can add the access point for your provider. For example, it's "wap.voicestream.com" for TMobile USA. You can look this up easily on XDA. This is a required step to get DATA services in Android.
- The "windows" key is your menu key in android.

eu am incercat android ce ai postat mai sus si nu merge, fisierele acelea trei nu sunt de gasit dupa dezarhivare. am gasit numai rootfs.img". multumesc pt ajutor si astept un raspuns.

Am asteptat putin pentru ca developmentul Android pt HD2 nu este gata. Tot mai apar probleme.
Vestea buna este ca fratele lui HD2 = HTC Desire HD sau ACE tocmai a aparut si acum chef-ii XDA lucreaza la portarea pe HD2. Rom-ul este superb (vezi mai jos video)
insa vreau sa te intreb godless ce parere ai despre android froyo 2.2? am tot cautat sa il instalez pe htc hd 2, insa nimic. am vazut pe you tube si arata fain. ma poti ajuta cu un link pt android froyo 2.2?
imi poate spune cineva de ce pe rom-urile de pe xda (seria energy) ,nu se actualizeaza ora automat? pe rom-ri originale (de pe htc.com) si pe Android pt HD2 merge.
Salut godless Am un HTC HD2 cu Rom Energy 5.2.21908 , radio 2.10.50.08_2 Te rog sa ma ajuti cu Rom nou de la Energy sa pot si apela 3G video call, pe rom-ul actual nu exista , doresc si Radio cel mai nou. Multumesc mult. Am incecat linkurile si majoritatea sunt inactive sau sterse. Am gasit postate de tine foarte multe lucruri utile dar nu le pot descarca. Toate bune si pe curand.
Va rog mult sa ma AJUTATI cum pot salva din HD2 Rom si SPL pentru ca aparatul este in garantie. De instalat HardSPL si ROM pot sa fac si am facut. Nu stiu cum sa alvez si pana acum nu am gasit metoda. MULTUMESC
Am descarcat ROM si Radio original pentru hd2 , nu gasesc nicicum SPL 1.42.0000 original. Am cautat pe forumuri si nu am gasit STOCK. Ma poate ajuta cineva cu unul original sau cu program de slavare a celui din aparat. Multumesc .
