Rulez Windows Seven.
Nu vreau sa instalez din nou Firefox pentru ca folosesc MozBackup pt parole, favorite etc.

 pai ati facut backup la parole si celelalte nu?atunci de ce nu instalati din nou mozilla? 
merge sa dati restore pe orice versiune am incercat si eu.merge si pe 3.6 beta 5.
va multumesc pentru acest program pentru ca este foarte folositor.simplu si rapid 
poate dv aveti o versiune mai veche de MozBackup folositi una mai noua o puteti lua de aici mai faceti o data backup iar dupa aceea reinstalati mozilla apoi restore.

pt ca isi face backup la TOT ... inclusiv erorile astea ...
Am rezolvat intre timp .Multumesc pt timpul acordat.
Pentru cei care folosesc alte soft-uri decat Mozbackup:

open your Firefox profile folder and delete* these three files:
extensions.ini
extensions.cache
extensions.rdf

Although unwanted files/folders can be deleted, renaming them is generally considered a safer option. This achieves the same result, but allows the user to retrieve any possibly required information from them later on. In the case above, rename the above 3 files as , 'extensionsOLD.ini', 'extensionsOLD.cache', 'extensionsOLD.rdf'

Pentru a deschide Folderul unde se creaza profilele firefox:

* C:\Documents and Settings\<Windows login/user name>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile folder>
The Application Data folder is a hidden folder; to show hidden folders, open Windows Explorer and choose "Tools → Folder Options → View (tab) → Show hidden files and folders".

Pt cei cu MozBackup:
in fereastra care apare se debifeaza cele trei componente despre care vorbeam la inceput:
extensions.ini
extensions.cache
extensions.rdf
componente pe care eu deja le redenumisem cu terminatia OLD.

ok dar add-on-urile le gasiti pe net gratuit
atunci deselectati aceste optiuni de la MozBackup
dupa care dezinstalati mozilla cu Uninstall Tool dand afara si registrii si tot dupa care instalati-l din nou si dati restore la backup-ul cu acele optiuni deselectate.
