A Newsreel History of the Third Reich: Vol. 2 (1995)
Captured by Russian troops in 1945, this collection of German newsreel footage offers insight into the tactics of Joseph Goebbels' Ministry of Propaganda, which successfully fed the nation misinformation and half-truths. Volume 2 focuses on the years 1936 to 1939, covering the country's alliance with Benito Mussolini's Italian Fascist Party, Spain's civil war and Germany's massive rearmament as it prepared for World War II.
