Moses
All the elements of great drama are found in the stirring tale of Moses leading the Israelites out of Egypt and thwarting the Pharaoh's wrath to search for a land flowing with milk and honey. At the epicenter of the action is the development of Moses from a hunted, haunted young man to a wise, charismatic leader. As well as overcoming obstacles from the Egyptians, he had to persuade his own people to have faith, and such power had to be given to him by God.
Ruth
This is the story of a woman whose name has becomes synonymous with love and fidelity. In a moving tale, Ruth follows her mother-in-law Naomi back to Naomi's native Bethlehem after the sad death of both women's husbands. Working hard in the fields to feed herself and Naomi, Ruth finds her feeling for her kinsman Boaz run deeper than gratitude for his help with the work. Prepared to marry for Naomi's sake, Ruth's loyalty touches Boaz and he decides to challenge the claim of a closer relative for Ruth's hand.
Jonah
The gentle humor of this wonderful tale of the bad-tempered prophet is given full reign here. Jonah's flat refusal to preach the word of the Lord to the people of the wicked city of Nineveh leads to his upsetting an entire boatful of sailors, and being unceremoniously heaved overboard to be swallowed by a whale. Even after accomplishing his task, Jonah remains as grumpy as ever, but God's patience and humor lead Jonah to understand the meaning of mercy, eventually.

Elijah
It is always difficult to be an outsider, but Elijah's plight as a sole, persecuted prophet of God took true faith to overcome. Alone in bringing people to the true God, he had to prove that the prophets of Baal were false, incurring the wrath of Queen Jezebel and her weak husband, Ahab. Despite the defeat of the prophets, Elijah's work could not be completed until he found the one who would take up his mantle and his work.
David & Saul
Power and humility are personified in the story of mighty King Saul and the humble shepherd boy David. As the latter grew up, his skills as a musician and a great warrior struck fear and envy into the heart of his fromer mentor. As Saul grew increasingly desperate, making several attempts on David's life, God's destiny unfolded inexorably, leading David to the throne as King of Israel.
Abraham
When God told Abraham that he and his wife Sarah would have a son, Abraham was astounded, for Sarah was long past child bearing age, but God assigned to Abraham the honor of being the "Father of Many Nations." Overjoyed at the birth of his son Isaac, Abraham was horrified by the next command from God, to offer his son as a sacrifice to Him.

Daniel

Divine love and human resolver enter the lions' den together, emerging victorious.
Joseph
Joseph's privileged status, as favorite son, was shattered when his jealous brothers sold him into slavery. Through suffering and betrayal in Egypt, Joseph kept his faith in God. Interpreting Pharaoh's nightmares as warnings of famine to come, he was rewarded with the highest office in the land for saving the people from starvation. When Joseph's brothers came to Egypt seeking food, he tested their honesty and humility before revealing his true identity and happily reuniting with his family.
Creation & The Flood
Noah's Ark and the Fall in the Garden of Eden are woven together in this absorbing version of two familiar stories. When the Flood comes, Noah and his family begin life in the Ark, and as the storm rages outside, Noah plays storyteller, waving the tale of Adam and Eve, god and the Serpent through the dark days on the water. Noah's story is told in cell animation. In contrast, the Garden of Eden is hauntingly depicted by the technique of paint on glass.

Nu inteleg de ce nu merge pe calculator (folosesc KMplayer si la alte DVD-uri imi ESTE afisata subtitrarea)
