General Info :
Odata cu moartea brusca si surprinzatoare a sotului ei, Nancy Botwin este nevoita sa-si intretina cei doi copii. Banii fiind putini, incearca sa gaseasca o cale de iesire din criza lor financiara. Se pare ca singura salvare a proaspetei vaduve este sa devina dealer de iarba (marihuana). Porneste o "afacere" care infloreste pe zi ce trece, clientii ei fiind atat vecini cat si presedintele consiliului orasului Agrestic, Doug Wilson. Incearca din rasputeri sa tina secret cu ce anume se ocupa, pentru a-si proteja familia, insa la un moment dat totul iese la iveala, in acel moment atat cumnatul ei, Andy, cat si copiii si prietena ei cea mai buna, Celia Hodes, se baga pe fir, dezvoltand afacerea.
Umorul, personajele, limbajul si actiunea serialului "Weeds" duce la dependenta incepand cu primul episod "consumat".
