Cu mai multe comedii romantice de succes în filmografie, Mark Waters (Freaky Friday, Mean Girls, Just Like Heaven) ni-l prezinta acum pe Connor Mead, (Matthew McConaughey) un burlac care, aflat în ajunul nun?ii fratelui sau mai mic, începe sa fie bântuit de fantomele fostelor iubite.
Fotograful de celebritati Connor Mead apreciaza libertatea, distractia si femeile, fiind un burlac convins, care nu simte nici o remuscare atunci cand se desparte de mai multe iubite deodata prin intermediul unei conferinte telefonice. Chiar atunci cand se parea ca acest afemeiat fara scrupule va reusi de unul singur sa ruineze petrecerea de nunta a fratelui sau mai mic pe nume Paul, incepe sa fie vizitat si hartuit de catre fantomele fostelor iubite parasite din trecut, prezent si viitor.
Femeile il poarta pe Connor intr-o calatorie fantezista, amuzanta si plina de revelatii printre relatiile lui amoroase esuate, incercand sa descopere ce anume l-a transformat pe fotograf intr-un ticalos insensibil si sa clarifice daca mai exista sanse ca el sa isi reintalneasca adevarata dragoste, pe care a pierdut-o in trecut sau pe care nu a fost capabil sa o recunoasca la acel moment al existentei sale. Este oare Connor o cauza pierduta, asa cum considera toata lumea care il cunoaste, sau in adancul sufletului sau se ascunde un romantic chinuit de insatisfactii?
