Very much niche entertainment. This documentary is constructed entirely from German footage, a mix of newsreel and propaganda. The non-stop British commentary is highly technical and frequently points out omissions or distortions committed by the filmmakers. There are some fascinating gems in here; such as planes preparing for the first raid on Coventry, a long sequence of Condors attacking an Atlantic convoy and various bomb aimer's point-of-view shots of attacks on Russian positions. However, there are a few glaring gaps too. Although the London raids are discussed there is no film at all to illustrate them; instead we are shown footage of bombers swooping low over what appears to be a French landscape.
