The film opens with the Federation starship USS Kelvin investigating a “lightning storm” in space. It turns out to be a black hole, and the Narada, a Romulan mining vessel, emerges from it and attacks. The Kelvin’s captain, Richard Robau (Faran Tahir) is captured and killed by the Romulan captain Nero (Eric Bana). First officer George Kirk (Chris Hemsworth) takes command and sacrifices himself and the Kelvin by ramming it into the Romulan ship in order to allow the rest of the crew to escape. During the escape, George’s wife Winona (Jennifer Morrison) gives birth to a son: James Tiberius Kirk.

Multumesc tuturor, asteptam de mult acest film.
Am si eu o intrebare pentru fani: in film moare mama lui Spock. Mai demult, am vazut un episod in care tatal lui Spock era batran si bolnav iar Picard vorbea cu el. In scena aparea si o femeie despre care eu am crezut ca era mama lui Spock (episodul in care Spock complota cu romulanii pentru unirea cu vulcanienii). Stie cineva cine era femeia, sau au avut scenaristii o scapare?

L-am vazut la cinema in super extra calitate cu tot ce trebuie si am fost dezamagit. Primele 10 au ceva aparte. Kirk asta a fost o gluma proasta. Oricat de penibil a fost Shatner, asta la intrecut.
