Plot:The commandant of the Mexican Border Patrol enlists Hoppy, California, and Johnny to help investigate the disappearance of Mexican laborers who went across the border to work in the mines of the town of Silver Bullet. The Commandant's daughter Inez is especially concerned because her sweetheart Enrique is among the missing. When they arrive, the town's corrupt sheriff, who also serves as hanging judge, immediately has them arrested and tried for horse-stealing and murder. He is even able to convince Inez to testify against the trio. After they are found guilty and sentenced to hang, Inez discovers the truth.
