UPDATE - Nav N Go iGO 8 v8.3.2.64873 (Nov 13 2008)

- latest navigation software update for R3 series, now with MSND support. This version also fixes the menu animation bug, where software would crash while exiting if enabled. As always, patched to work both on PDA & PNA as well.

L-ai probat? eu am gasit o versiune ce nu porneste deloc.... o sa il incerc si pe asta..

LE l-am probat: este stabil sub toate skinurile aflate la dispozitie (pe rezolutie 480_272). Am si comprimat executabilul la maxim (2,3MB) si functioneaza fara probleme. MSDN-ul e o functie utila poate pt cei cu PDA, celorlalti le-ar fi fost util, poate, o optiune multimedia.

Ce este MSND

O noua Varianata TMC mult mai buna menita sa ofere informatii nu numai pe baza receptorilor de pe autostrazi dar si prin fiecare utilizator in parte .
Deci daca vede ca mergi pe autostrada cu 10-20 in loc de 120 un receptor TMC indica normal dar MSN Direct arata "Delay-15min" iar in cazul in care e 0 km TMC si MSN Direct "Road Blocked"

Prin asta se doreste ca fiecare PDA PNA Phone sa fie un centru info

Most GPS systems use the TMC traffic system that is fed over the FM air waves by Clear Channel Communications. The data is fed by Inrix. I have written a lot about Inrix, and their miles of road covered is claimed to be superior to Traffic.com's. Check out how Inrix collects more information about roads that don't have expensive installed sensors; it's called the Dust Network, and it's pretty innovative. The recently announced Garmin Nuvi 680 uses MSN Direct Traffic. MSN Direct uses Traffic.com's data (being acquired by NAVTEQ), which relies on road sensors for the most part to gather information about traffic flow and incidents. They are not ONLY relying on road sensors, as they too are getting into using fleet vehicles and anonymous cell phone monitoring.

So, while Inrix talks about more coverage, Traffic.com talks about quality of data feeds. I live around Boston, and the MSN Direct service does not yet cover the roads in my area (Second Beltway around Boston), so this is a concern for me. Coverage may be a concern for you too. You can compare the coverage for your area at Inrix or at Traffic.com. At Inrix, just click on your city to see a what roads are covered in your area. At Traffic.com, click on your city and then on the Map tab to show the coverage graphically.

Merci, de la save era de nu-mi mergea mie. Acum merge si nici nu se mai blocheaza deloc, singurul lucru care nu-mi convine e ca se vede sageata de sub masina acum...am acelasi sys.txt nu inteleg de ce s-a marit sageata ca eu ii pusesem niste valori sa stea mica sub masina, vreo idee ? merci mult

Salut am pus noua varianta intii copiind executabilul dar nu a mers...
Am sters apoi tot de pe card si am pus varianta noua, am copiat folderul content de pe versiunea precedenta si pare ca este totul in regula deocamdata. Programul porneste direct de pe executabil...
A aparut insa o problema ulterioara- facusem download niste fisiere .kml de pe poiplazza pe care le pusesem in folderul poi din Userdata. Acum cind folosesc noua versiune nu se vad pe harta si in plus nu apare icon-ul la fiecare poi in parte cu toate ca il alesesem pt tot grupul... Am pus acelasi sys,text cu care in versiunea trecuta nu aveam probleme d-astea...

In sys.text am referitor la poi :

L-am testat si eu, schimband doar executabilul(Thx pqreed si tuturor celor care au o contributie atat de mare).dar am intalnit o problema. Butonul de inchidere a aplicatiei nu apare si nu il pot inchide din program, tr. sa inchid PDA-ul. Am incercat toate skinurile pt 8.3.1. si merg. Singurul skin la care apare butonul este cel implicit si numai in modul simplu. LA skinurile Gurjon apare butonul pt. modul simplu dar nu este activat. Intrebare pt. cunoscatori:am facut eu ceva sau n-am facut?
