Mi-am cumparat recent un PC , e vb de un sistem AMD Athlon la tehnologie 64 pe o placa de baza Asrock . Am o mica problema la numele procesorului apare AMD processor model unknown Chestia asta imi apare si in BIOS. Ce sa fac?

Update la BIOS. Versiunea de BIOS care o ai o afli din HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINEHARDWAREDESCRIPTIONSystem registry subkey:
SystemBiosDate
SystemBiosVersion
VideoBiosDate
VideoBiosVersion
sau
Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> System Information.

ai grija la update de bios. sunt sanse sa reduci calc. la tacere.
nu am facut decat la calculatoare cu probleme evidente. si asrock e o firma chineza, care copiaza la nesimtire placi asus. ceea ce e bine. si io am asrock si sunt foarte multumit de ea. originala era 3800000, piratata era 1800000, a meritat. atat ca relatiile cu clientii mai schioapata. update nu prea am gasit pe site la ei, si nu te incumeta sa faci update cu altceva decat biosul de pe site-ul proucatorului, pt modelul tau. riscul e mare.

deci ce pot face daca update-ul de B.I.O.S e periculos??? Sistemul e nou , cu garantie totul e original in el . Sistemul il am de 2 luni si de abia acuma am observat chestia asta...sa ma duk cu el de unde lam cumparat?? ....P.S(chestia asta cu ,,model unknown, poate sa imi dauneze la jocuri , aplicatii etc?.)

Update la BIOS nu e periculos decat daca se ia curentu. Poti face update si din Windows.
Ai 2 optiuni: faci singur update sau il duci la ei si faci scandal ca altfel nu mere ( le zici ca nu poti instala nush ce prog la care ai licenta ca nu recunoaste procu  )

afisat in coltul din stanga-jos al ecranului, la bootare. Codul se interpreteaza astfel :

unde A este tipul procesorului cu valorile
0 = 8086 sau 8088 (primu meu calc)
2 = 286
3 = 386
4 = 486
5 = Pentium
6 = Pentium Pro/II/III/Celeron/Athlon/Duron
B este marimea BIOS-ului
0 = 64K
1 = 128K
2 = 256K
CCCC este "Major and minor BIOS version number"
DDDDDD este producatorul
E - L setari
E ( 1 = Halt on POST error)
F ( 1 = Initialize CMOS every boot)
G ( 1 = Block pins 22 and 23 of the keyboard controller
H ( 1 = Mouse support in BIOS/keyboard controller)
I ( 1 = Wait for F1 key on POST errors)
J ( 1 = Display floppy error during POST)
K ( 1 = Display video error during POST)
L ( 1 = Display keyboard error during POST)
mmddyy este data BIOS-ului
MMMMMMM este identificatorul pentru chipset sau numele BIOS-ului
N este Keyboard controller version number

Nu e dificil, dar ar fi bine sa citesti inainte ca sa sti ce faci. Daca o faci de oaie nu-ti fa griji. Cauta pe cineva cu o placa ca a ta si poti face un hot flash

Unknown processor poate insemna si ca ai un 2400+ Mobile
NU TE AFECTEAZA DELOC IN JOCURI SAU APLICATII.

nu fa update din windows. stiu calculator busit, cu toate ca a respectat procedura. probabil sunt mult mai multe probleme care pot sa apara din cauza sistemului de operare. fa de pe discheta de boot.
