Valley Girl
This teen romantic comedy involves a mismatched couple: a Valley Girl, Julie (Deborah Foreman), and punk rocker from Hollywood, Randy (Nicolas Cage). The pair find love in their Romeo-and-Juliet-like romance, until peer pressure gets to Julie and she cuts their relationship off; Randy just does not fit in with her Valley crowd. Julie reluctantly gets back together with her Valley boyfriend, Tommy (Michael Bowen), and goes to the prom with him, but the love struck Randy refuses to give up on Julie in this funny, winning film.
